Two Teens Arrested After Assault

Two teens are facing multiple charges after an alleged assault Sunday afternoon.

An Elmwood Place Fireman was at the 6000 block of Vine Street, when he saw one of the teens beating a womans head against a wall. The fireman told the teen to stop, but the suspect slammed her head one more time, and threatened to shoot the fireman in the head.

When police arrived the two suspects then shoved an officer and ran, leading police on an extensive foot chase.

The teens 19-year-old James Wesley Robinson, and a 16-year-old minor were finally found in the 200 block of Township Avenue, and were arrested. Police did not find a gun on the suspects.

The two are facing charges of misconduct at an emergency scene, aggravated menacing, obstructing official business and assault.
