Guitarist Rich Robinson is currently on the road with his Black Crowes bandmates, but he'll be heading out on his own next year.
According to "Billboard," Robinson plans to embark on a national tour in support of his third solo album, The Ceaseless Sight, which is due out in the spring of 2014. The follow-up to 2011's Through a Crooked Sun will be his first release with Brooklyn indie label The End Records.
Robinson expects "great" things with the new partnership, explaining that the folks at The End know how to "allow the artist to create pure music without the inevitable commercial vs. art clash."
In the meantime, Robinson is scheduled to take the stage with the Black Crowes this Friday and Saturday for a two-night stand at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.
