Seahawks outlast Niners, punch ticket to Super Bowl 48

(Seattle, WA)  --  Malcolm Smith intercepted Colin Kaepernick on a deflected pass with 22 seconds to play, sealing the Seahawks' 23-17 win over the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game from Seattle.  The 'Hawks picked off Kaepernick twice and forced him to fumble once in punching a ticket to Super Bowl 48 where they will meet the Denver Broncos.  Marshawn Lynch ran for 109 yards and a touchdown while Russell Wilson threw for 215 yards and a score.  Doug Baldwin caught six passes for 106 yards while Jermaine Kearse had a TD grab.  Seattle is headed to its second Super Bowl ever after losing to the Steelers in Super Bowl 40.  Kaepernick finished with 153 yards passing while rushing for 130 yards on 11 carries.  Anquan Boldin had five grabs for 53 yards and a score for the Niners, who have been to the NFC Championship Game three straight years but won just once.
